Antifascist worker and hip hop artist murdered by Golden Dawn nazis in Piraeus

Killah P Rest In Riot.

Pavlos Fyssas, a 34 year old antifascist and hip hop artist (Killah P), was murdered by Golden Dawn neonazis in Keratsini, a working class neighborhood in Piraeus.
From eye-witness report: «Around 24:00 a group of 15-20 fascists, wearing black t-shirts and military pants and boots, was deployed on P. Tsaldari street. During that time, Killah P was walking with his girlfriend and another couple when he was spotted by the fascists shouting «what are you looking for here, you know there is no place for you in this hood». The fascists hunted the two couples down P. Tsaldari street towards Gr. Lampraki avenue, where from another street, a new group of around 10 fascists came out and surrounded the guys. At that time, a car drove opposite in an one-way street, stopped, the driver came out and stabbed Killah P once in the heart and once in the abdomen (the stabbing on his abdomen had an upside-down «L» shape). Larissa prisons : 585 PRISONERS ON HUNGER STRIKE

larisaThe State has shown its zero tolerance with the raids by the EKAM (special forces) and beatings of prisoners in most prisons of Greece lately.

However the hunger strike of the prisoners in Larissa prisons, which began on 29/4, is one of the minimal and stronger means of resistance which they have at their disposal.

Our support to their struggle is obvious.

The white cells of the “leftist” justice minister Antonis Roupakiotis will not pass. Our minds are next to those who fight for dignity.

1/5/2013

Three prisoners-hunger strikers who had serious health problems in the past and are much older, were transferred to the hospital a while ago.

These incidents happen during the hunger strike which began on Monday, April 29th, by 580 prisoners of Larissa prisons, who demand obvious and alleged vested rights of theirs, concerning days of leave, pharmaceutical treatment and social service, which are not provided to them. They are enraged with the provocative attitude of those in charge who play with the lives of the prisoners and make the dignity of the latter a disputed aspect of their personality…

Between 1985–1986, almost daily demos and clashes between anarchists and the police took place in Athens. Α 15-year old youth, Michalis Kaltezas was shot dead by the police during this period and his killing caused huge riots in Athens and Thessaloníki. The government reaction to the occupation of the Chemistry School in Athens made the oppression against Anarchists almost unbearable, but the Anarchist movement survived, and managed to stage demonstrations with thousands of participants in Athens

THE GREEK GOVERNMENT ARE SILENCING THEIR PEOPLE

The Athens branch of Indymedia, an independent open network of journalists who report on political and social issues, was shut down last Thursday. Before its plug was pulled, the site was used for such principled purposes as reporting on cases of police brutality and exposing underground dealings between the Greek police force and the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party. If you’ve somehow managed not to come across it before, it’s a kind of localised WikiLeaks, only without that tricky stigma that comes with rape allegations and overstaying your welcome at South American embassies. emergency: athens indymedia and radio 98FM, call for international solidarity week from 15 to 21 April

From the 11th of April the the counter-informative site athens.indymedia and radio 98FM, are under sedation. Following the government’s order, the Rector of the Polytechnical School, Simos Simopoulos, stopped the provision of internet.

Τhis kind and level of censorship and repression can be only seen in strict-authoritarian regimes.

We call for nationwide and international solidarity week from 15 to 21 April

We demand the right to transmit freely through the Polytechnical School of Athens.

Regarding the events outside the Maragopouleio occupation and the joint attack by cops and nazis

On the night of Monday, April 8th a group of comrades who were at the Ipsila Alonia square [in Patras] came under attack by fascists who frequent the Psitalonia grill-house (owned by the Golden Dawn member Sipsas). The attack was sparked by a t-shirt with an anti-fascist symbol wore by one of the comrades. The fascists attacked our comrades with stones, bottles and chairs from the inside of the grill-house.
